What’s the best cure for post-nasal drip coughing?

Thank you in advance (cough, cough).
Ask your doctor, but if you are one of the unlucky ones without health insurance you can also try Claratin (loratadine) over the counter long term, or flush the snot out with a saline nasal spray.

Sudafed will dry you out and take care of the post-nasal drip.

don’t dry yourself out. you’ll only get a sinus headache and that stuff needs to come out.
try mucinex. it lubricates your sinuses and often you’ll find everything is released in one big lump – better than the dripping.
don’t get the one that has a cough suppressant in it unless you plan on taking that one at before bed. otherwise, you need to cough that stuff up.
also, i like mucinex because it is non-narcotic. has no side effects and can be taken often without either slowing you down or, reving you up. go for it.

There is a nasal rinse at the drug store, you can buy, which is a saline solution, very easy to use, as there is a bottle that you fill up,and you put your head forward, not back, and breath through your mouth, and wow, it cleans the nose out real good. I like this product because it does not go down your throat, and it is safe. Also, I use Echinacea, and golden seal, and that helps in keeping the nose clear.Sudafed works good but I like the herbs better. The rinse I use is called NeilMed, and it came from Kaiser pharmacy.
