It annoyingly causes a tickly cough & frequent swallowing. It also causes bouts of indigestion & nausea

Try a saline nasal spray.

There are over the counter medications that can help with that, such as Sudafed, Tylenol Sinus, etc. But, if you don’t want to take medication, try elevating your pillow at night to prevent the drip–this really helps. Post nasal Drip is a symptom..what is causing it?
I have major food allergies, once I stopped eating those foods I got rid of a cough I had had almost ALL my life.
Big one could be Dairy, it’s very common. If you do dairy stop it for a few weeks & see if it helps.
For my Pollen & Mold allergies I use Alevert.

Try avoiding dairy products cause they thicken the mucus. Drink lots of water, and try eating garlic which reduces mucus production. If that doesn’t work, than try taking mucinex. Go to this website for more information. http://www.postnasaldrip.net/
