How do I get rid of this post nasal drip?

May 7th, 2010 by admin

My ears do not pop, and I get fluid built up behind my eardrum. I’ve been taking Lodrane OTC to dry up the fluid for about 3 days. Now I have this post nasal drip! What can I do to get rid of it?

I would go to the Dr. and get treated wit han antibx. This could be a sinus infection All the "neti pots" are not going to clear up the infection. You can try dimetapp in the short run (antihistamine and decongestant). Good luck

I suffer from it year round. Beside nose spray, I use a Neti pot. It’s a small tea pot like pitcher. You put warm water with a little salt in it, lean over sink with head lightly down and pour into nostril until it comes out other one. The saline solution rinses out the sinus cavities that cause the drip and a couple times a day for a few days helps lots. Actually I get relief after even one use.

All drug stores have them now. I use a ceramic tea pot I have.
